PES 2021 Saitama Stadium 2002 - Minor Atmosphere Update for Urawa Reds
Saitama Stadium 2002 is one of the most prominent football venues in Asia and serves as the home ground for the J1 League club Urawa Red Diamonds. For PC players looking to keep eFootball PES 2021 Season Update current, modder NyantaroWEPES has released a specific atmosphere modification designed to reflect the stadium's actual matchday environment more accurately.
J.League ultras are known for displaying huge flags and banners across entire stands and passionately supporting their teams for the full 90 minutes. Urawa Reds, in particular, are famous for having some of the most passionate fans in Japan. A packed Saitama Stadium, awash in red, offers one of the best atmospheres in Asian football.
This mod slightly enhances the atmosphere at Saitama Stadium 2002, bringing that atmosphere into the game and making it feel more like a Urawa Reds home match.
Since Saitama Stadium 2002 is also used by the Japanese national team, I wanted to avoid having Urawa banners and flags appear during Japan's matches. That's why I created a separate stadium version specifically for Urawa.
With StadiumServer, this version is used exclusively for Urawa Reds home matches, while the regular Saitama Stadium 2002 is used for Japan's national team matches and games involving other teams.
Crowd (optional – crowd_saitama.lua):
Only affects Urawa home matches at Saitama Stadium (no effect on other matches):
- Urawa fans in the home end jump around.
- Replica shirts worn by spectators use the correct colours.
Affects crowds at all matches and stadiums:
- Darker casual clothing, with fewer white or brightly coloured outfits.
- A lower proportion of clothing in team colours and white.
If you don't want these changes to affect other matches, set <span>local USE_PALETTE = false</span> in <span>crowd_saitama.lua</span>. Only the Urawa-specific features will remain enabled.
Installation:
- Copy the
<span>content</span>folder into your game directory. This adds<span>content\stadium-server\Japan\Saitama Stadium 2002 (Urawa)</span>.The regular Saitama folder remains unchanged, so matches played in Japan will continue to use the original stadium. - Set up the mapping (see below).
- Optional crowd features: Copy the files from
<span>OPTIONAL_crowd</span> and add <span>lua.module = "crowd_saitama.lua"</span> to <span>sider.ini</span>, immediately before the <span>StadiumServer.lua</span> entry. - Delete
<span>startup.cache</span>and launch the game.
Mapping instructions:
Edit <span>content\stadium-server\map_teams.txt</span>. The Urawa team ID is 147; change it if your team ID is different.
