PES 2021 Face ID Relinker
The modding community for eFootball PES 2021 Season Update is one of the most dedicated in gaming history. Every day, talented facemakers release incredibly realistic 3D models of both classic legends and rising stars. However, installing these faces can sometimes be a headache—especially when the Player ID of the downloaded face doesn't match the database of your specific community patch.
Enter the PES 2021 Face ID Relinker by Rul's, a game-changing utility tool designed to eliminate the frustration of mismatched IDs and missing faces. Whether you are using VirtuaRED, SmokePatch, Dream Patch, or EvoWeb, this tool is an absolute necessity for your modding folder.
What's new in this version:
Drag & Drop folder support — just drag a face folder (or even a face.fpk file) straight onto the app window and the ID is detected instantly. No more clicking through folder dialogs!
Quick reminder of what the tool does:
- Relinks face IDs in .fpk files without losing eyes, beard, or face textures
- Handles all ID cases: 5→5, 6→6, 5→6, and 6→5 digits
- Patches the embedded texture path inside the FMDL model directly — single clean folder, no Blender needed

How the magic works:
For same-length IDs it does a direct byte-patch. For different-length IDs (e.g. 42669 → 176601) it uses a minimal FMDL string-table patch — appending the new texture path to the end of the model and updating just a handful of pointer bytes, leaving the rest of the file byte-for-byte identical. That's why the game loads it perfectly with no force-close.
How to use (single-folder, super simple):
- Open the app → click Select Folder... and pick a face folder (e.g. .../face/real/44840)
- Type the New ID (e.g. 180303)
- Click Preview (Dry-run) to simulate → then Process
- Tested relink different ID
The folder is auto-backed up, the files are patched, and the folder is renamed. Done!
The app also includes a built-in How to Use guide and an ID/EN language toggle.
Important notes:
- Always keep a backup (auto-backup is on by default) and use Preview before processing
- Safest option is a new ID with the same digit count (e.g. 6→6) — uses a direct, size-safe patch
- Different-length IDs still work (zero-padding / repack), but always test in-game before mass use
